I know shobha acted in it. I went along with my family as a kid to watch it. I dont remember much about it.

I saw that movie long back.. Bought the VCD when I was in India early this year but forgot to bring that with me.
AFAIK, its about the life of the people living in slums. Shoba acted as a rag-picker. Delhi Ganesh acted as a rickshaw-puller and i think vijayan also played a major role. Shoba won a national award and the movie won a national award in the best movie-tamil category.
It is sure a heart-stirring movie!
