if you are just taking a break after whole day of demands or everybody settled down, you still have energy to go on....IR's Sangeetham can entertain you.
dance pop, hard RockNroll or some sappy happy, romantic, pathos etc.. I look forward to Shri.IR's sangeetham listening session after the sun sets  NO VISUALS, I NEED.
I celebrate the lyricists and the singers if they add extra pleasure...

Iam enjoying the album which was composed by "Gangai Amaran" years ago. As the festive season has advanced there is no devotee who has failed to enjoy these soulful melodies soaked in devotion.
One of the greatest hits of GA which is still a bliss for millions of people who go for pilgrimage every year.Resembles IR songs in many ways..I have managed to find a few songs from that album here, but many other good songs are missing.

Vinatha,
Infact Raja songs are better off without the visuals most of the times :D The only reason I like them on TV or Radio is the unpredictability. You never know which the next song is going to be and sometimes you do get very good surprises.
:)
வைகறையில் வைகை கரையில் வந்தால் வருவேன் உன் அருகில்....... yearning pathos சுபபந்துவராளி ..
கவிதையும், dramaticஇசையும், ஸ்ரீ.பாலா's singing .

Kannama Kadhal Ennum...smoothly rendered by the Maestro himself...what more could I ask for? My appreciation (and yes quite biased at that) prevents me from listening to it in parts or in detailed view...rather I can only enjoy as a whole....
Ila Nenja Vaa – what I find very contrasting sounds: the beginning leads you think that it’s going to be a soft melody type...the speedily played modern beats seem like they are placed upon the song not played alongside the voiced part which seems more in sync with the flute which pipes along to the lyrics...kind of like a remix feel....
Que,
Thanks for the picks.
I love IR voice.
