For some reason, I haven't got exposed to meerA songs when they arrived. I remember listening to 'Oh butterfly' often on Coimbatore buses those days, without knowing the movie name. Later, caught up with it on youtube (surprised to see Vikram there - means he had some nice treat from IR even before Sethu).

I'll try to listen to this song once I get home...

as u remind me on pudhuppattu, there is a song "sontham vanthathu" sung by chitra is a good melody and not much noticed...

mostly when u say pudhu paattu, people used to talk abt nethu orutharey, enga orru kadhal and the german song.

Plum, as per my memory pudhupatttu was produced by panju arunachalam not by IR. Do not ask me proof. :-) let us verify when we get a chance to watch that movie..

I remember hearing the words you have mentioned. So it surprises me that app_eng has not heard it!! I still can't recall where I heard that song. A nice one really.

Reg Meera songs, let me say that as with app_eng, I too have little exposure to those songs other than 'O Butterfly'. Will need to listen to the song now and then respond. (Now this keeps my message relevant to the thread and I escape the wrath of Usha :lol: )
