Madhavan has all the reasons to feel happy and contented. He has just now completed a prestigious project Guru with Mani Ratnam and Sunglass with Rituparno Ghosh. Secondly he has taken time off from his busy schedule for a vacation with his family at Malaysia.
When questioned about Guru and Mani Ratnam, he was too forthcoming with his thoughts. In Guru, for the first time in his film career, he plays the role of a journalist. He found it very exciting to be on the other side of the microphone. He sings oodles of praises on his mentor Mani Ratnam. According to him, Guru has come out very well and Mani Ratnam has not neglected even the minutest of details.
He patiently waited for the dates of all the leading stars and then completed the film. When asked if Maddy knew the type of role that he was going to play in the film before signing, he replied in negative. When it comes to Mani, no questions asked. On his co-star Abhishek’s performance, Maddy reveals that Guru is sure to reveal a different shade of Abhishek to the world.
Currently, he is holidaying at Malaysia with his wife Sarita and son Vedanth. Maddy’s eyes sparkle at the very mention of his son’s name. “Vedanth has completely changed our life. Now all our moves and plans are centered around him. Though my parents wanted us to go to Malaysia without him, we did not want to. After all he is an integral part in our life”, says the proud father. “Of course, Malaysia is not turning out to be a vacation for us as we are constantly on our toes with Vedanth. My parrot Ashley is green with envy as Vedanth receives all our attention. In fact I feel the same way whenever I see my wife with my son.” Maddy chuckles.
When the Xvid for Guru's tamil version comes out, download the movie. Then download "GoldWave" which rips sound from mp3s and avi, wma, etc. Rip the "dubbed tamil" GURU songs and presto, you've got yourselves songs.Quote:
