TN govt tax rebate helps actors get unusual salary in TN. If TN govt impose tax on movies all salaries will change drastically. So indirectly TN govt is also paying for the actors. So all the paNividai done by actors to govt did not go in waste. But fublic suffers with less tax money.

Considering that it takes more than 3 years nowadays for each of his movies, that is peanuts. Some average corporate executives may make more money than him :roll:

Well, there's shine, show and glitter (ofcourse, no kanjikku lottery). In any case, unless he has other investments / industries etc, he could become bankrupt pretty quick, as just the acting income won't be sufficient to cover the expenses, there's also a marriage coming up :-)

(No wonder his daughter is struggling with loan / court ladAi etc with reliance, sultan stuff)

He is saying that Rajini is not as rich as one would imagine. I also agree with that. Some politicians in TN make that kind of money in a week's time and some of them in day's time.
