First of all I don't have any personal agenda to praise MGR.
It was from news paper and also from close source SR Radha. SR Radha's father was the one who helped MGR when he moved from Sri Lanka to Tamilnadu. Most of MGR's money and properties have gone to orphans and dumb and deft. There may be something left but not much. One other thing I forgot to mention. Article from thuglak named MGR enum vaLLal after the demise of MGR.

There were frustrations within the family of not MGR leaving much to the family as he did not have any real heir. It is not the right place to discuss those. I will PM you.
