But yes, it was surprising that she sang "Kodanu kodi" kuthu song beautifully... :shock:

I loved her voice in Kartin Mozhi (even tho there was a tempo prob which made it like a keerthanai [as pointed out by srini]) :)

For heaven's sake - they are looking for a play back singer - and not a crack voice, panting carnatic singer who is good at keerthanais.

Raagini massacre paNNa songs innum pala uNdu. And her crack voice is nothing special. Already there are too many in TF industry with such rough voices.

To clarify, SujAtha first sang a song in Kavikkuyil that was not included in the movie. She was something like 10 or 12 when she sang that song. She was popular as baby SujAthA in KeraLa (avinga royal family-nga) and did plenty of stage shows as DAsettan.
