dinesh, i know how much u love madushrees voice. but for the context of this movie, its a poor choice. madushree has a very indian voice, her voice is a raaga itself. this is a western classical soundtrack and so it was an obvious choice of not having her.Quote:

YUVVRAAJ music out on 16th October
Much anticipated music release of YUVVRAAJ would take place on 16th October. The soundtrack arrives amidst quite some hype and expectations since it brings together Subhash Ghai and A.R. Rahman who last created magic with TAAL.
This time around, there is also Gulzar saab for company and the trio get together for YUVVRAAJ which is essentially a musical. Early buzz on the music is positive though one expects an experimental soundtrack once again due to the name Rahman being attached to the project.
When Ghai and Rahman had collaborated for TAAL, it had led to mixed response at the beginning due to an unconventional appeal of the music. However, it was just a matter of time before TAAL was quick to get into the annals of all time classics. One looks forward to what the team has on store for the audience this time around and all questions would be answered once YUVVRAAJ hits the stands on 16th October.
Yuvvraaj Audio CD is available for pre-order at T-Series website. Costs Rs.160. And shipping within India is free if the cost is above 150, so I might just order from them instead of MusicYogi.
QUOTES ON YUVVRAJ MUSIC
Subhash Ghai is very different from other directors. He has really worked hard on the visuals. They look really colourful and really romantic. It's almost treated in a musical way where it's more realistic than just background music."
-A. R. Rahman
"When I saw the songs of Yuvvraaj on screen , I sent a message to Rahman saying that they were magnificent, and this is a very honest opinion of his songs and picturization. Great showman puts up a great show! I think the performances of Subhash’s Yuvvraaj will go a long way in carrying this film ahead .it touches your heart."
-Gulzar
"When Rahman and Subhashji come together, they give you the best music. The music of Yuvvraaj is outstanding. Its very soulful, peaceful and carries a sweetness of its own with powerful lyrical value."
-Salman Khan
"I think its gonna rock, well, its gonna orchestrate... It’s going to reach a lot of people... and touch their minds and souls…"
-Shridhar (Sound Engineer – Yuvvraaj)
