On a similar note, I missed out on being impressed by one of the highly recommended films - Ring. I had seen Scary movie 3 before I saw Ring. Almost all of the spooky scenes felt funny to me... it was all replicated, frame by frame in scary movie 3 :lol:

This technique was very effective (and much more thrilling) in the climax of Silence of Lambs. It is a must watch :thumbsup: eventhough it is not a horror movie.
Similar stuff was also done in Grudge where the lead character looks up in the attic in total darkness. But the best part of that film was the ghost crawling down the stairs in climax. Matha badi grudge is a sothai padam!
Yes. Stephen King's novel. Apparently King did not like the film and in fact Kubrick (the director) was given a Razzie award for that film. Sacrilege :twisted:Quote:
