When MSV was countered in one of the interviews whether he compromised his tune for kavignar's lyrics or lyrics was compromised for the tune ?
MSV's innocent response was, "enga pattula, matter'ku meter'a illa meter'kku matter'anu sollave mudiyaadhu" :P

I believe for Maama's composition, Kannadhasan usually writes for tunes, though, perhaps, not always.
