Oh MS Bhaskar is talented alright. But the lines given, the scenarios given everything was tasteless and Bhaskar is not talented enough to rise above all that.
Vivek kooda 'merge' agitathaala avarukkum fancy dress competion vyaathi thothikichi.. Barath pilim la kooda etho balram naidu getup la varuvaar.. :x
largely goundamani act(in the name of comedy) is tasteless. but few people do enjoy.Quote:

Hmm.. adhu oru karuthu. However, if you cannot differentiate between irreverent social satire and tasteless, entertainment less parody of a spoof, good for you :-)Quote:

For instance, Vivek does NT act frequently, and very often, insultingly, but sometimes it does click - like the Parasakthi Court scene, and even RaasakkapALayam ("enadhu kaNgaL..." was hilarious in NT accent, and his reaction to Ranjit praising him in his letter to his mother was superb) was not bad. But this Pudhiya Paravai act just wasnt funny at all.

i know to differentiate and i do enjoy few goundamani comedies... but I never enjoy so called gounderisms like "sangoodhura vayasula sangeetha" can be defined in ur words like absolute nonsense, downright silly, idiotic, tasteless etcQuote:

I agree with Plum on the spoofing. I would really enjoy making fun of who ever may be.. Fun ngra paerla panra ellaame fun aa irukirathila..rather irritating..
example is this vivek and MSB spoofing on Shivaji and Saroja :sigh2:
Singam padathula koodaa, appaa nallavaraa kettavaraannu ithukku munnaala 1000 times spoof pannappatta Nayagan dialogue.. But antha place within a family daughter, mom and dad related aa family kulla chinna chinna jokes ngra muraila enjoy panra maathiri irukkum..
Plum, if u say that likes of "sangoodhu vayasa sangeedha" is gounderism and name it as irreverent social satire, then I'd say out aloud that gounderism(or gounder act or whatever u call) is absolute nonsense, downright silly, idiotic, tasteless etcQuote:
