I realize the fickle nature of success and that of the fans. Failure is bound to make me the butt of ridicule, as I have seen in the past. Many unsavory things were written about me when I was struggling to make a mark and was in and out of the Indian team.
It was so disheartening after I was dropped, and people poked fun at me on the Internet. Of course, I have no control over that. But I have worked hard, performed consistently in domestic cricket to get back my place. Though I did pretty well in the series against Australia, I don't think I have cemented my place in the team. India are playing most Tests away from the subcontinent now and I'm not sure whether I will be part of the playing XI.

Murali wouldn't have been a problem at all for CSK. They have played him very well in the past, may be because they played him more in the nets for the first 3 years. And he is not menacing these days. Check his performance this season.

CSK won all their home games in 2011 when all the SL players played here in Chennai. Similarly MI this season won against CSK without the services of Malinga. So the contribution of SL players for win/loss is negligible to say the least. There are no impact players like a Gayle or Warner from SL this moment. Mahela may be an exception but not in the same ranks of the players mentioned above.
And the ban on SL players is only for their own good. Especially when the impact of hunger strike of students among general public was huge. And the franchise owner will not risk the team's image to take a hit by playing SL players, whether at home or away.

SS- Yes, RCB game-la thaan we made the highest number of runs so far......I want to see CSK post/chase 180+ type of scores to really believe we are clicking together as a batting unit. I do agree that IPL pitches this season don't seem to be the pattaas we are used to but this is T20 which is a game of fours and sixes.
