A.R.Murugadoss was quick to come out in the open to downplay Thotta Roy Choudary’s role in his upcoming film with Vijay by saying that Roy was just one of the villains and that the main baddie was yet to be cast. Now the director has confirmed casting Bollywood hero Neil Nitin Mukesh as Vijay’s nemesis in the yet to be titled film.
Neil Nitin Mukesh has had an up and down career in Bollywood as a lead but can be proud of doing a variety of films over the past 7 years since his debut. By entering the Tamil industry through such a high profile film, Neil Nitin Mukesh is bound to make more heads turn as he goes up against Vijay.
Close sources to the unit reveal that the shooting is going to happen in and around Hyderabad for another month atleast.

In a breaking news update, the director of Vijay's upcoming movie, A.R.Murugadoss has updated that the title of his movie is Kaththi. Earlier, it was rumored that the film has been tentatively titled Dheeran but now such speculations have been cleared with this major announcement.
Samantha is Vijay's co-star in the movie and the team is currently shooting in Hyderabad in searing heat. Lyca Productions are funding this mega budget movie, which has Anirudh's music and George Williams behind the camera.
We must say that the title Kaththi is massy, sharp and suits a big action star like Vijay. Good choice, team.

I prefer VAAL over Kaththi. VAAL has an antiqueness towards it and is often assosiated with sharpness & quickness. Where as Kaththi is like the Thirupachi dialogue !
Anyway, filmakers have less to no choice when the fans are at war more than the stars !
