Ilayathalapathy Vijay plays triple role in 'Puli'?
The latest buzz in K-town is thatIlayathalapathyVijay will be seen in three different roles in his upcoming film Puli. According to reports, Vijay will be seen as a cartoonist, a warrior and third role is said to be suspense.
RememberPuli¡¯s director Chimbu Devan himself is a former cartoonist and then assisted director Shankar to become a filmmaker.
Pulihas ensemble of star cast including Sridevi, Hansika, Shruthi Haasan, Sudheep, Prabhu, Imman Annachi, Vidyullekha Raman, Aali, Thambi Ramaiah and many others.

Television anchor turned comedian Imman Annachi is the flavour of the season when it comes to comedy in Tamil cinema.
In Kakki Sattai releasing next Friday, he will be seen throughout as the lead comedian with hero Sivakarthikeyan. The actor is also playing an important role in Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Puli. Sify.com had a quick chat with the actor and here is what he has to say about Puli.
“The film is shaping up well and Ilayathalapathy is extremely happy with the film's progress and yesterday (Feb 19), he had arranged for a grand biriyani feast for the entire unit. If the film belongs to period genre, this is what he had to say: “I really don't know as the director didn't narrate the full story to anyone except for the lead actors but going by the costumes and sets, I guess it is a period film”.
The actor also added that "Chimbu Devan has a bounded script and he knows exactly what each and every artiste in the team has to do. The dialogues will be different from usual Tamil film. One can't call it as Sanga Tamil (classical Tamil) or the modern day colloquial language, it will be something unique which you should wait and watch in big screen".
Imman is very excited about Kakki Sattai release as he feels that the film is a sure shot winner at the box-office.

It will be interesting to see if they will reprise their famous 'Please Watch and Share, if you are a true fan' stuff in all the teasers and trailers, for Puli ;-)
Hope they don't do it. Teaser watch count is not related to theatrical collections. It only gives a false hope to fans that the whole TN awaits that movie.

Based on Chimbu devan's track record we can be sure it won't be run of the mill. Actually this is the most unlikeliest of combinations :). The first look might give a clue to atleast what we can expect. If you look at the best scenes of Chimbu Devan's films he looks like one of the best in business. Somehow he only shows flashes of brilliance. Or maybe that is because he had to work within limitations of budgets and actors. Yes bro. Even on the views, I don't know if they can use same accounts for different products, meaning I don't know if Puli would be used as part of the same MCN account. As for the likes, we know what happened to Aambala trailer too.. and the harsh comments... ;-). This whole trend of maximum likes, views are so misleading... I only wish these translated into the commercial success of a movie too. Then it would be worth tracking it. Right now, it is only used by hardcore fans; with no linkage to box office performance (unfortunately).Quote:
