Raj, that 'payaNam' song is still giggling in me. think its a jayachithra movie. hero could be jaisankar or sivakumar. the song had a very beautiful beat and rythm. KJY could be the male part of the duet. sorry, thats all i can remember.

The movie (before -mounagetthagal) was directed by K Baghyaraj-featured on Radika. In the movie she is an upcoming actress and KB is the director.
This particular song was very popular.
Another song that i am not able to remember is from the movie Oru Kai Osai-also directed by Bhaghyaraj featured on Aswini (the heroine of Uthiri pookal). In this movie she is a doc. and KB is dumb. A very good movie but i don't seem to remember the song.
Geeth/Surya: Aarambakalam is a fantasic song...especially the charanam starting off at "Devamirudham Thenidzhgal..." (KJY/VJ). My other nostalgic KJY pieces include Mohana punnagai Oorvalame . The song is a superb one.One of the late 80's KJY songs include "Poo malarndida nadamidum pon mayilae..I luv u..." in Tik Tik Tik??
BTW is the song-SPB/SJ- Sriraman Sridevi kalyan Vaibogam available on the net somewhere???
