Yes Cedric...it's the same in Bangalore. Although multiplex shows were reduced to accomodate Puneet's new Kannada movie, Jilla got additional single screens for the 2nd week. I don't know about the box office numbers but the number of screens for Jilla is definitely encouraging. Also, the new Kannada movie is being termed as a dud already due to bad reviews so it may have only helped the tamil releases.

If Jilla is a disappointment for Ajith fans then Veeram is a disappointment for Vijay's. As a movie lover, Veeram had nothing new to offer. Every scene was predictable. I have seen them all in other movies. I wouldn't rate Veeram as Ajith's top 10. He has many well deserved movies to fill those spots.
