Jilla has already been announced a super hit and Vijay, the man considered as a minimum guarantee hero by producers is beaming with glory as ever. His next film after Jilla will be with A.R.Murugdoss, his second one after Thuppakki, the blockbuster film of 2012.
After completing the film with Murugdoss, it was said that Vijay will be doing a film to be jointly produced by his erstwhile Manager and good friend PT Selvakumar and Shibu of Thameens films. Intially it was rumored that Atlee, the young director who debuted with Raja Rani, one of the most successful films of 2013 will direct this film.
However we hear that it will not be Atlee who will direct Vijay's 57th film but the chance has gone to Chimbu Devan who introduced a new genre in Historical Comedy with his debut film Imsai Arasan 23aam Pulikesi. Sources close to the Producers confirm this saying that an advance has been already paid to the Director and the film will kick start in July. All this because Vijay the star is highly impressed with the story line narrated by Chimbu.
Chimbu's next films like Arai EN 305il Kadavul and Irumbukottai Murattu Singam were not as successful as his first film. The Director had narrated a script to Dhanush in the mean time but now he has reprotedly grabbed the offer to direct Vijay obviously a bigger star.
The untitled flick is touted as a action entertainer mixed with Chimbu's unique elements.
Rumor mills working overtime and i think it will either be Hari or Suseendran who would work with Vijay after ARM.Quote:

As we said earlier the makers of Jilla is planning to remake the film in Andhra as they believe that mass subject will definitely click well in Tollywood. Sources say that Neason already had talks with Jr NTR for directing a film and soon the actor will be seeing Jilla so that he will be deciding the final call.If *all goes well Super Good Films will produce the Telugu version and just like Tamil a powerful actor might reprise Mohanlal's role. Mean time Jilla team is happy with the film's success and now they are even more happy as the film is having a good market in remake circle.
