After a lot of hide and seek over the past two months, Shruti Haasan has finally confirmed that she is indeed pairing with Ilayathalapathy Vijay for the first time. “Am super happy to be vijay sirs leading lady in Chimbudevan’s next! Fondly called by fans as Vijay 58, this untitled film is billed as a fantasy flick and the team is on a location hunt to shoot the film in breathtaking locales. Hansika Motwani is likely to be the second heroine and an official announcement is still awaited from her end.
Kichcha Sudeep of Naan Ee fame and yesteryear heartthrob Sridevi play pivotal roles in the film. Devi Sri Prasad composes music and he has earlier said in an interview that it will be his biggest film. Regarding madurai event...I heard kumudham is going to conduct this event.. but no clarity yet regarding this, even among VMI circle..we'll get the clear picture in few days..

IMO actually bad publicity for both kumudham and Vijay. Everybody I talk to (Vijay fans or not) have expressed their disapproval/disgust over this poll. Now to top it off they want to celebrate it :)

Vijay - 'The Next Superstar' to make his presence felt ...
Recently, a popular magazine had conducted a public poll across various platforms on "Who the next Superstar was?", and Ilayathalapathy Vijay was chosen as the next Superstar.
Taking it further, the magazine is conducting a felicitation function on the 15th of August, in Madurai. The event is planned to be a grand spectacle with many top stars from the industry expected to make their presence felt.

Wow..didn't check hub posts for a day or two and looks like I missed a lot of action (which I am glad I did). First thing..on that function issue..I really would be a happier fan if Vijay politely declines the request from the organizers from the magazine in a nice way. Don't think he needs someone else to do this to reiterate his growth and star power. His fans have proved it time and again.
Can I request all Vijay fans to ignore all this crap and mudslinging ...especially if it's coming from someone who has "an agenda".
Let's just redirect our energies in discussions about Vijay. Does anyone have a listing of movies that were written with Vijay in mind first by the makers?
