sorry fellow sivaji rasigars,I wasn't on the net for the past few days.In reading through some of the backlog I saw the posts about navarathri....if you see the film again,as the titles roll on..a.p.nagarajan will introduce the movie as depicting the rasas...another nice touch by him as the writer is that those characters with names will have a name describing the rasa portrayed like arputharaj...arputham,dr.karunamuthy..karunai etc.check it out.Joe,dont stop...keep this thread alive as long as there is a www and till Tamil is spoken.....whichever is earlier.
Definetly Sir..Quote:

The film was a take-off on Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew", with all the desi masala of the day. The arrogant wife had to be put in place and the hero nags her, only to reform her. How angry should she be? Yet in that scene, Bhanumati, a talented actress herself, can be seen suppressing her laughter and desperately trying to get her reactions right. Such was the effect of Sivaji Ganesan's comic portrayal and his rendition of the "Santhamulekha ... " song.

I LOVE these songs purely for IT's PHILOSOPHICAL meanings, can someone pls tell me, if these songs featured in Dr.Shivaji sir's film, if so pls tell me the film name.
