engamma maharani is a story of a nice couple delhi ganesh-sumithra. Delhi ganesh then goes in wrong path and falls for Y.Vijaya and leaves sumithra. Roopa who is the elder daughter tries to re-unite the parents but in the end sumithra dies and delhi ganesh reforms..
story was good but direction was pathetic.

Madhu: I am not very sure about these two songs. But I am very sure that Bharati acted in single piece swim suit in that song :-) I saw in a video collection CD. Real kalakkal song. NS.Maniam had directed the movie, whose favorite pair is Jai and Bharati.
BTW, we cannot trust the displays in the CD song sequences.

I only vaguely remember the title "Enakku Naane Neethipathi". The film apparently was directed by S.A.Chandrasekar and starred Vijayakant and Lakshmi in the lead. I cannot recall listening to today's pick ever before.
