Thuppaki title issue - fresh petition filed

The producer of Thuppaki, Kalaipuli S Dhanu has filed a fresh petition at the court seeking to vacate the stay on the title. According to the producer, there is no rule that a part of the title of another film cannot be used as title for a film. He gave several examples such as Ee and Naan Ee, Siruthai and Suruthai Puli etc.

The producer also made it clear that the titles Kalla Thuppaki and Thuppaki bear two different meanings and therefore cannot cause any confusion.

Thuppaki, it may be mentioned here, stars Vijay in the lead and is directed by AR Murugadoss.
