I don't think so...Plum is very active as Plum, in his usual self, in the TF & TF Classic sections. (He did a great post on andha nAL in the NT thread recently)
I don't see any reason for him to use another ID here.
After relishing the SPB-SJ halwA 'chokkanukku vAichcha sundariyo' repeatedly this evening, made the great mistake of searching for that kAval geetham song on youtube.

i yAm not tmrrmt. i yAm basically sombEri while tmrrmt is raja pugazh parappum self-appointed PRO.
I know who he is but I will not tell you although his recent posts give a very clear clue who he is.
To reiterate the second sentence of this post, tmrrmt is the feller who once, when he came to know the city I was residing in, asked me to use any holiday of mine got a distant suburb to go to a library where I can find a old article on IR(apparently, he read it there years back and it must be a stroll in the park for me to find it now). I was like "Dude basically iyAm a sombEri, Saturday AnA koovathula irukkaRa kosu kooda kupuuRakadichu kavundhu thoongu. No way I am stirring on a holiday for a rare article, not even if it is on IR". I told him politely I was new to the city and I didnt know my way around. avaru vidalaiyE, bus number, route map ellAm pOttu kuduthuttAr foruthulEyE
I mean, what strikes me, looking back, is that all through it, he simply was thinking like "Dude this is the least you can do for IR, whats so difficult about it".
I couldnt even understand that kind of passion.
That passion has only grown in him, and he has gone way beyon dthan any one else I know in spreading Raja's name as a lone warrior.
To even speculate that I am him is an insult to his Raja-fan-ness.

enna solRadhu. I haven't watched the film. Don't know who is the director. But I can bet my life that *nothing* about that film could have deserved this song. Too much of a genius that it casually spills over such films.
That opening chorus is heavenly. Their pallavi backing alone could be another melody. Even if the song had stopped after that, I would have been satisfied.
Delight saar, this man.

Raja's 80s malayalam. Drowned in for the past few weeks. Even though we know most of them, I was listening to this today morning while coming to office. Compared to other songs in the movie Jackpot (Thaazhvaaram, Kulamabi thaalam, mungi mungi), this one I thought is a rare one. Valathum Idathumaayi by Unni Menon. Piano delight right from the prelude till the end. I could not believe when Maestro says that he is still learning Jazz when he has already mastered it. A refreshing number for the morning walk/drive with hot coffee. Aha! sorgam.

On loop for the rest of the day. Ennum evvaLavO!
PS: Could not get good links, but there are only few available in net for this song.
it is a freaky thing... I was listening to "Kaiyyil oru keyboardum" frm Ajantha - that was a song that I loved to hate..
Surprisingly i listened to the complete song and felt it was Fine except for "yuvan shakarai poadu" bit..
thumburu - correct'nga. 10 points :-)
Welcome back V_Sji!!
V_S,
Superb song. I have listened to it but not often enough. I think we should include this song in our 90s analysis when we talk of Raja in Malayalam. The songs in this movie are quite experimental in nature.
The 'mungi mungi' seems to be inspired by his 'Bobilli Raja' number, "chamma chakka chamma chakka"
magical pair of Bala and Janu with nice chorus!

Thanks Nerd.
Yes, Sureshji. Valathum Idathumayi and Mungi Mungi took me by surprise. The melody in valathum idathumayi sound very new and fresh in addition to it sounded little christian'ish may be because of Unni Menon's voice. Another interesting aspect why I liked this song is because it resembled 'Chinna KaNNilE' from Dhoni which is again my most visited song. Hearing this song along with Dhoni's song can tell us how he improvised keeping the melodic and basic structures intact while building a totally different architecture. Please let me know if you find the resemblances between these two songs. This is again a clear cut example how far he has travelled.
yeah! :)
