Refer Vana parva, when Arjuna alone defeated the entire Kauravas, which included Drona and Bhisma....

Man if that was the case, why Dhuryodhana dint appear in front of Bhima right on the first day....? He conveniently avioded Bhima on the whole 18 days or was behind Bhishma or Drona or Karna, whom Bhima can't handle....Read MahaBharatham as Mahabharatha,,,,not for your fancies....and why the "so-called best amongst the lot on Mace fight " hid under-water on the 18th day....fearing death....? :lol:

Dont deviate from the issue. My point is that THE PANDAVAS WOULDNT HAVE WON THE WAR BY WAR RULES . THEY COULD NOT MATCH WITH BHEESHMA FOR 10 LOOONG DAYS . THEY WERE FORCED TO BRING IN SIKANDI
SAME ALSO THE CASE OF DRONA. THEY HAD TO UTTER FALSEHOOD TO SILENCE DRONA.
EVEN BEFORE KARNA COULD MAKE HIS WHEEL COME UP, HE WAS KILLED ( AGAINST WAR RULES )

Hey, when I am saying this facts, you are taking a shelter KRISHNA'S GUIDANCE etc.

It was Krisha who feared disaster if Drona had ventured into it & this forced him to go to the pandavas to do something which can upset Drona.

I too am aware of this when Arjuna defeated as a woman in disguise but be aware it was not a real war but a small battle.
Indeed everyone lost including Karna but it doesnt mean that they were inferior

Look ,in a war, one day you lose , another day you win but when it comes to eliminating a person, the pandavas couldnt do anything to their ARCH / KEY RIVALS.

This shows your lack of knowledge on war . ALWAYS A KING IS BEING PROTECTED BY ALL MEANS . ITS THE GENERALS WHO LEAD THE WAR WHILE THE KING WILL ALWAYS BE BEHIND .

No wonder Duryodhana was shielded by his commanders at all times

There were instances when Bheema & duryodhana had come across . Once he was hit by an arrow ( I mean Duryodhana ) & was wounded a bit also.

Ultimately, Duryodhana was not hiding under water. He was cooling himself from the wounds & also to buy time to regain strength.
Duryodhana was not a fool to run away from the battle field.

If Duryodhana was not a true warrior, THE DEVAS WOULDNT HAVE SHOWERED HIM WITH FLOWERS AFTER HE WAS SLAIN.

THIS HAPPENED TWICE RIGHT INFRONT OF KRISHA & PANDAVAS

DURYODHANA, DESPITE HIS WICKED ATTIDUE, DIED LIKE A TRUE KSHATRIYA IN A WAR WHILE THE INGLORIOUS PANDVAS , LIVED LONG REPENTING FOR THE LOSS OF THEIR DEAR ONES

Without Krishna, Pandavas couldn't have won the war against Kauravas. But without Bheeshma, Drona and Kripa, Kauravas woldn't have the nerve to face a war, including Karna.

Ummmm.....On the 3rd day of the war, Dhuryodhana went unconscious, as Bhima stuck him hard in a duo and Bhima, as per the war norms, stopped attacking him, turned towards other forces.....Kaurava's forces, to be precise Dhurqyodhana's forces scattered here and there when they know their master was defeated...

Onhearing this, Bhishma and Drona came to the rescue of the forces and they tried very hard to control Bhima, but it was too late. Dhuryodhan after getting his consciousness, insulted Bhishma, in his usual tone.

At once Bhishma, worked havoc on Pandava forces and within a span of 3 hrs he wiped one half of an "Akshowhini" of Pandavas forces....So Arjuna had to come again to stop Bhishma...

My friend, do you know one thing.....right from the 4th day of the war, Kaurava had a plan of arresting Yudhishtira to end the war abruptly...This plan was proposed by Bhishma himslef on the night of third day, becuz, everyone feared that it was very very difficult to face Bhima and Arjuna just for 3 days.....days....Ironically, they tried to do this till the 15th day and it was impossible. The only reason for the impossibility was Arjuna, only Arjuna.

Infact after the fall of Bhishma, Drona was very angry and he was very veyr particular in arresting Yudhishtira, the only condition he laid was this, "Make sure Arjuna is not around".

Man Arjuna's valour is un-paralleled. You can shout whatever you want. Facts are facts...Nakkerare, ellavatrilum kuttram Kaana iyaladhu....whether you want it or not, Arjuna was a great hero, equal to Drona or Bhisma...

Annd dont give childish explanations as Dhuryodhana was cooling his body and messaging his body and all......

If you want, I am ready to discuss each and every day of the war individually...are you ready...?

Srivatsan, as a newbie hubber, I do not really want to get into hurting ANYONE. I was really serious in everything I wrote. I adore Dhuryodhana's charecter in Mahabharath for all the reasons I mentioned earlier. I have not typed so much for nothing.

Those were my views right from my childhood. I did not go to any Guru Kul and "learn" Mahabaratha. I "read" it with a free mind. I did not watch a single episode of the TV serial too. So I get to think about it not in any religious context. I just saw and analyzed the charectors of Mahabharata in the current stream of thoughts and developments around the world. I really want this Great Epic to stand the test of time. Or else we cannot call it a Great Epic at all. Please do not jump-in and conclude that "I am non-sense". You may not agree with my views and so will I not agree with you. But atleast we both should be able to understand that we do not agree with each other.

Raghu , Sudhamma, can you please tell me if what I believe that all Kauravas went to Heaven after their death and the Pandavas went to Hell is true or not. This is the central point that made me consider Kauravas as good and Pandavas as evil. Have anyonelse heard about it or is it just me. If it is not true can someone tell me how this story came into existence ?
