I just read an article in the ny times on The Dude that contains Umberto Eco's definition of a cult movie.Thinking of P.Vasu doing anything cult, other than he unintentional EKSI, is quite hilarious.

What are the requirements for transforming a book or movie into a cult object?” Mr. Eco asked. “The work must be loved, obviously, but this is not enough. It must provide a completely furnished world so that its fans can quote characters and episodes as if they were aspects of the fan’s private sectarian world, a world about which one can make up quizzes and play trivia games so that the adepts of the sect recognize through each other a shared expertise
AhA, Surya vs. Devgan 'lAm no-contest 'nga! (Devgan's performance might have passed muster in isolation, but if you pit him against Surya in AE, I've to say he was really poor.)
Not only is Surya brilliant in the film, he is also quite a scene-stealer at times despite being alongside the superb Madhavan who clearly had a much more challenging role. Bottle-training scene 'lAm Hindi 'la vekkavE illainga!
PR,
Humble submission ellAm thEvaiyE illai. AE is indeed the better film. But I do like Abhishek's Lallan a lot.
Wow, this looks good! (Yet to read it fully though.) Thanks Compli.Quote:

I'm becoming a fan of this guy, he is almost a film scientist (admittedly with lot of time in his hands  ) Thank you Bala. :)
BTW, DevagaNam was good in Takshak, a movie I liked very much. Also one of Rahman's best ever.

One more shameless digression to round off: I just learnt that Karthik Raja did the re-recording for Rasu Chittappu.
