Vijay starrer Thalaivaa is in the post production stages while his Jilla is yet to commence. But business-wise, Jilla seems to have overtaken Thalaivaa. Yes, according to trade sources, Jilla’s distribution right in almost all areas has been sold out.When enquired, it has been revealed since Jilla is being produced by a big banner, Super Good Films and it has two big stars – Vijay and Mohanlal – in the lead roles, the distributors are eager to lay their hands on the rights as it is touted to be a sure-fire success.

BREAKING: Vijay and Jiiva come together again!
To add to the joy surrounding Vijay's 39th birthday is the confirmation of Jiiva’s participation in Jilla. For weeks now there has been speculation that Jiiva could make a cameo appearance alongside Vijay in the film, but now industry sources tell Behindwoods that it is indeed confirmed that the two will come together once again after the superhit Shankar film, Nanban.
Jilla is being made under R.B. Choudary’s Super Good Films which also happens to be Jiiva’s home production. His older brother Jithan Ramesh has been actively involved in the production activities of the film and now Jiiva too will be part of this entertainer.
