I had watched..It was not that great acting to praise this much .I watched nearly 75 out of 135 MGR movies and I have a considerable knowledge in MGR's political carrier ..For me Mohanlal failed to display MGR in any sort.Sorry to say ,even sathyaraj could have done it better.

I am not degrading Mohanlal .I know he is one of the best actors .But that is only in malayalam .I watched 'Popcorn' (for nasser) and found mohanlal's acting is really really pathetic .I don't know it is because of his dialogue delivery in tamil .Otherwise I can understand malayalam 80% and watched many of his movies and admired him .But so far in tamil ,he couldn't give any impact.

his duty is not to resemble mgr there.....it would had been a mess!...nearly mgr is what required..

when he begs for the director to commence the movie again and not accepting to do the role of a police constable :clap:

when he goes for the village without knowing abt the marriage and the first night scene.. :clap:

his reaction when he knows its prakash raj who doesnt want him to contest...he would laugh with a surprise.. :clap:

asking to arrest prakash raj :clap:

his reaction for the death of aish :clap:

come on man.....such a realistc performance on tamil screen!

Sorry Nilavu ,
Mohanlal may displayed a great acting in some scenes .Thst is not surprise ,since he is such a great actor ..but that alone doesn't make Iruvar one of the all time Top 10 tamil movies ,that is my humble opinion .Same time I respect your opnion ,though I don't buy it.

come on...arr music...excellent photography...intelligent protrayal..superb acting...

every aspect is great... :D just like a real life history along with fantasy!

so what? does that make this movie great! People didn't even bother this movie since it is just a jimmik in the name of technical brilliance .

You may have a opnion that whatever mani does is great .But for me his 'Nunipul meithal' in a issue ,make a contraversy as if dealing with a history or problem ,but totally misleading the plot ,irritating with one word 'aama' ,'nadakkum' ,'eppadi' etc ,so called modern dialogues like "Odi poyidalaama?" didn't really impressed me .

His real gems are mouna ragam ,nayagan ,kannathil muththamittal..that is all.IMO

kannathil....is a great movie???...i dont believe in the charecterization of that small girl...too artificial!

where did u see mohan lal or prakash raj speaking with a single word ?...they spoke right dialogues...infact prakash raj a bit too much!

its not a real history...just a fiction on two great guys

i dont beleiev mani's works are always great!...thats why only one work ive listed!
