I wanna know the diff b/w the cava colour and the eastman colour.
My grandpa,an ardent fan of MGR used to say that "alibababa-vum 40 thirudargalum"(MGR,banumathi version)is the first tamil movie made in cava colour.He has told something about the movie nadodi mannan too..

If it is so,what is the first tamil movie made in eastman colour?
(BTW,wht does this eastman standfor??)

That movie name is "kkouli koovuthu". The man who acted was not vijaykanth but its prabhu. Prabhu acted as a military man in that film.
