Chapell thought so too and we paid heavy price for that. Why would you make a succesful opener to bat at no.4? How is Sehwag and Gilchrist is a better pair than Sachin and Gilchrist?

And I still stand by what I said earlier. No one can question Sachin's place as an opener.

Sachin is not just about stats and records. Statistics just prove why he is considered as best. Not the other way round.

edhu exception, edhu rule-nnu yaaru decide pannuva - adhu dhaan matter.......to simplify in jaiganes's terms:

Rule: we need a poll to select winner
Exception: Sachin should not be in polls

now u tell me, who is arguing for rule and who is arguing for exception :)
