'ஆயிரத்தில் இருவர்' பத்திரிக்கையாளர் சந்திப்பில் இயக்குநர் சரண் தனக்கு அஜித் கூறிய தத்துவம் ஒன்றை நினைவு கூர்ந்தார்.
அஜித், ஷாலினி நடித்த ‘காதல் மன்னன்’ படம் மூலம் இயக்குநராக அறிமுகமானவர் சரண். 'அமர்க்களம்', 'பார்த்தேன் ரசித்தேன்', 'ஜெமினி', 'ஜேஜே', 'வசூல்ராஜா எம்பிபிஎஸ்', 'அட்டகாசம்' என பல வரவேற்பை பெற்ற படங்களை இயக்கினார். 'அசல்', 'மோதி விளையாடு' என கடைசியாக இவர் இயக்கிய படங்கள் போதிய வரவேற்பை பெறவில்லை.
4 வருடங்கள் கழித்து வினய் நாயகனாகவும் சாமுத்திரிகா, ஸ்வஸ்திகா, கேஷா கம்பட்டி என மூன்று அறிமுக நாயகிகளை வைத்து சரண் இயக்கியுள்ள படம் 'ஆயிரத்தில் இருவர்'. இப்படத்தின் அறிமுக பத்திரிக்கையாளர் சந்திப்பு சென்னையில் நடைபெற்றது.
அப்போது இயக்குநர் சரணிடம், "நீங்கள் பெரிய நடிகர்களிடம் பணியாற்றி இருக்கிறீர்கள். அவர்கள் யாருமே உங்களுக்கு உதவ முன் வரவில்லையா?" என்ற கேள்வி எழுப்பப்பட்டது.
அதற்கு சரண், "பெரிய ஹீரோக்கள் கூட படம் பண்ணிதான் பெரிய டைரக்டர்னு ஒரு அங்கீகாரம் எனக்கு கிடைச்சுது. எல்லாருடைய வளர்ச்சிக் காலத்துலையும் அதிர்ஷ்டவசமா நானும் கூட இருந்திருக்கேன். ஒவ்வொருத்தரும் ஒவ்வொரு விதமா எனக்கு உதவி பண்ணிருக்காங்க.
அஜித் ரெண்டே நிமிஷத்துல ஒரு லைன் மட்டும் கேட்டுட்டு எனக்கு ஒகே சொன்னாரு. நீங்க இயக்குநர் பாலச்சந்தர் கிட்டேர்ந்து வர்றீங்க. உங்களுக்கு இது முதல் படம் வேற. உங்களுக்குள்ள ஒரு வேகம் இருக்கும். கதைய கேட்டு எந்த விதத்துலையும் நான் அதை கெடுக்க விரும்பலை. நீங்க என்ன வேணாலும் பண்ணுங்கனு அவர் கொடுத்த ஊக்கம்தான் இன்னைக்கு என் நிலைக்கு காரணம்.
'அசல்' படத்துக்கு அப்பறம் நானும் அஜித்தும் சேர்ந்து படம் பண்றதுக்கான சூழல் இருந்துது. அதை அஜித் தான் உருவாக்கி கொடுத்தாரு. சில காரணங்கள்னால அது நடக்கல.
அஜித் எப்பவுமே "வால்ல தீ இருந்தாதான் ராக்கெட் மேல போகும். அப்படி இருந்தாதான் நம்மளால வேலை செய்ய முடியும்" அப்படின்னு சொல்லுவாரு. அது எப்பவுமே எனக்கு ஒரு இன்ஸிபிரேஷன். எல்லாருமே அவங்களாலான உதவிகளை எனக்கு செஞ்சிருக்காங்க." என்றார்.

அஜித், அனுஷ்கா, த்ரிஷா, அருண் விஜய் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்து வரும் படத்தை கெளதம் மேனன் இயக்கி வருகிறார். இன்னும் பெயரிடப்படாத இப்படத்தை ஏ.எம்.ரத்னம் தயாரித்து வருகிறார். ஹாரிஸ் ஜெயராஜ் இசையமைத்து வருகிறார்.

இப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு படுதீவிரமாக நடைபெற்று வரும் சமயத்தில், அஜித் நடிக்கவிருக்கும் அடுத்த படத்தின் பணிகள் மறுபுறம் படுஜோராக நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.
இது குறித்து அஜித் 56 படக்குழுவினரிடம் விசாரித்த போது, "இப்படத்தை தயாரிக்க பல்வேறு முன்னணி தயாரிப்பு நிறுவனங்கள் பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தி வருகின்றன. பி.வி.பி சினிமாஸ் தயாரிக்கக் கூடும்.
'வீரம்' படத்தை விட ஒரு படி மேலே இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று மிகவும் மெனக்கிட்டு வருகிறார் இயக்குநர் சிவா. அஜித்திடம் ஒரு வரிக்கதையைச் சொல்லி ஒ.கே வாங்கிவிட்டார் இயக்குநர். தற்போது திரைக்கதை அமைக்கும் பணிகள் நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன.
கெளதம் மேனன் படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்தவுடன், அஜித்திடம் திரைக்கதை அமைப்பைச் சொல்ல காத்திருக்கிறார் சிவா. கெளதம் படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்து காலில் ஆபரேஷன் செய்து கொள்ள திட்டமிட்டு இருக்கிறார் அஜித். அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து இதன் படப்பிடிப்பு தொடங்கும்.
'வீரம்' போலவே இப்படத்திலும் நிறைய நடிகர், நடிகைகள் நடிக்கவிருக்கிறார்கள் என்பது மட்டுமே இப்போதைக்கு கூற முடியும்" என்றார்கள்.

Can you share your experience working with Ajith, Vijay and Suriya
All three have been great to work with. Ajith was my first co-star from the three which makes him and my relationship with him special. Working with him was a lot of fun and was a great learning experience. He's certainly one of the most charming men I've met.

Ajith's next film with director Siva is already in the news, even though the star is still busy shooting for his 55th film with director Gautham Menon.
Regarding 'Thala 56', the director Siva is heard to have finalized his technical team and he is expected to make things official after August 15th, once the producers for the movie are finalized. It seems that all the leading production houses in Tamil as well as Telugu, are willing to fund the movie as it marks the coming together of the successful Veeram combo again. With both Siva and Ajith enjoying a fair share in the Andhra market, producers from Andhra are showing a lot of interest.
Stay tuned for more on 'Thala 56' and on who gets to fund this prestigious venture.
