yes, yes. RR is the more mundane version of Abirami. I am glad the movie eschewed the common cliches (I was half expecting Saurabh Shukla to emerge from Sadiya Siddiqui's house in the last scene), but there is only so much a film can lampoon TV serials. I mean, it has become such an easy target that it is not even funny anymore. I have watched Mithya and I would copy paste my Raghu Romeo comments. Save the first and last 30 minutes, the film was a bit of a drag and too sentimental. That said, I liked it better than Raghu Romeo, since it was darker. I understand the subtexts and layers in his movies (seach for morality in RR and questions of identity in Mithya), but I just think they aren't that great. Am watching MD today. Let me see how that turns out :D.
