Nope. Tougher than that. I can give some clues if nobody knows the answer yet.Quote:

And I guess many will be surprised if we say that this happened in this century :-)
Didnt Yohannan also make his debut in the same match?
Yes along with the great Sanjay Bangar. 3 debutants in the same match, now that's what is called re-building.Quote:

I think England came with a depleted side due to some issues (terrorism or something along those lines). This series is famous for Hussain's negative tactics against Sachin. Hoggard and Flintoff made a name for themselves in this series.Quote:

Do you know the name of a famous cricketer who took nearly 4 years to score his first century?( BTW, what a memorable occasion it was)
Test or ODIs?

I know this one. Hanif Mohammed (the unlucky man to be runout on 499).
In fact he did this when Sobers hit his 365th run to get past Len Hutton.

Name the only player who has more than 8000 runs in both Test matches and ODIs, and yet his highest score in ODIs is higher than his highest score in Test matches.
In late 90s there used to be a TV quiz program called 'Stumped' conducted by Bhogle and it had Sunny, Srikkanth & co from India competing against Border & co from Australia. It was a nice enjoyable program and Sunny was unbelievably good. He once answered 9 out of 10 questions correctly in a rapidfire round on all-rounders. This question was asked in that program and hence I remembered. I am raking my brains to remember some other questions from that quiz. If I do, I'll post them here.Quote:
