Actor Vidharth is on cloud nine for having been able to share screen space with Thala in director Siva’s untitled project.
“As everybody says, Ajith sir is indeed a great human being. We have got three more schedules left and the shoot might mostly be completed by November or December. It’s going to be a great movie and I was so fortunate to live for almost 100 days with Thala,“ says an ecstatic Vidharth. “I heard that director Siva and Ajith sir recommended me for the role after watching Mynaa. Ajith sir watched my upcoming film Aal’s trailer and told me that it’s going certainly to be a hit,“ he says.
Vidharth is currently working on projects like S.P. Rajkumar’s Pattaya Kelapanum Pandiya and Aal. Quiz him about his role in Pattaya Kelapanum Pandiya, Vidharth says, “It’s is more like my dream role. When I used to be a part of Koothu-p-pattarai, I loved doing comedy.
And Pattaya Kelapanum Pandiya has given me a lot of scope to experiment with humour. I’m so proud of the director, who completed the talking portion of the film in just 28 days. Actor Soori has also done a great job. I’m sure that the movie will shape up well,” he says. “The trailer of my next film Aal will be released on July 28 and it will surely create a stir. I hope that it will be welcomed by audiences,” he adds.
Vidharth might have shot to fame with Mynaa, but the actor is still waiting for another hit to establish himself in the industry. He concurs, “After Mynaa, I committed a mistake by agreeing to work on a few projects, which were not promoted and distributed well. That’s when I realised that a good story alone doesn’t help a film to run or to attract audiences. A major part of the responsibility lies in the hands of producers and the banners, that distribute the film.”
