I am sure TMS did have that experience being chased by young women in the indian context..
TMS marrying a 22 yr old in his late fifties could be a good indication of how he did impress girls/women!

Song: siricha kolli malai kuyilu
Movie: Jyothi
Singers: SPB, SPShailaja
Lyrics: Vairamuthu
MD: iLaiyaraja
Year : 1983
Song requested by Naaz. He writes:
A feeble flame, more wick than light, and put out by audiences everywhere faster than you could say Manivannan. Ambika, Mohan, Vinu Chakravarthi...you know how far it could go as cinema already.
But the song is a jewel. Bright and dazzling, and generous in its riches.
Double the loot if you haven't seen the film.
Lovely song. Took me back to the time of simple rural melodies of the 80s. Shailaja managed to poke a hole or two in my ears but still a very nice song. SPB good as always. Thanks Ramki and Naaz.
Ramki -
Thanks for featuring this duet! It is among my all-time favourites of SPB. Paattu 1983-le Vandhaalum, IRs magic is fresh and intact to this day! I think this song was the only bright spot in an otherwise dim, dull film.
Neel D. you're welcome.
Ramki
