CAULIFLOWER PEPPER FRY ( Meerra)

CAULIFLOWER PEPPER FRY
Ingredients:
500 grms cauliflower florets
Little tumeric powder
Little salt
1 tbs butter or oil
˝ tsp cumin seeds
1 medium onion sliced
Little salt
3 green chillies sliced
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 sprig curry leaves
1 ˝ tsp coarsely ground black pepper
Little chopped coriander leaves
Method:
Clean the cauliflower florets. Apply in the tumeric and salt.
Steam the cauliflower florets till ˝ cooked. Remove.
Heat the butter in a wok. Add in the cumin seeds, let them splutter.
Add in the onions and salt. Saute well.
Add in the green chillies, ginger, garlic paste.
Add also the curry leaves. Stir fry well.
Add in the steamed cauliflowers, stir fry well.
Lastly add in the coarsely ground blackpepper.
Give a very good stir fry , garnish with coriander leaves.
Remove and serve hot as a side dish.

LIMA BEANS CURRY ( Meerra )
Frienz here we get the fresh lima beans.
i made it into a thick curry. Enjoy.
LIMA BEANS CURRY
Ingredients:
1 tbs oil
˝ tsp mustard seeds
˝ tsp cumin seeds
1 big onion cut fine
2 tomatoes chopped
2 cups of fresh lima beans
˝ tsp cumin powder
2 tsp coriander powder
Little water
Salt to taste
To Grind:
1 tbs ginger
2 tbs fresh coconut
˝ tsp aniseeds
2 tsp chillie powder
Little coriander leaves to garnish
Method:
Heat oil in a kadai, add in the mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
Let them splutter. Add in the onions and sauté till light brown.
Add in the chopped tomatoes and cook till mushy.
Add in the cumin powder and coriander powder.
Add in also the ground ingredients, mix well.
Add in the lima beans, salt and also some water.
Cook till the beans are cooked but not mushy.
Let the gravy become little thick.
Add in the coriander leaves and remove.
