I too remember the song was sung by a new singer. But when i listened to the version sent by Naaz it sounded very much like SPS. Could there be 2 versions?

At the time of its release Chiranjeevi's director Shankar boasted that it is the first Indian film to be shot entirely on a ship. Well that was the only novel aspect of this film. Sivaji, sowkar, Saritha, sarathbabu, srirpirya , all these 'S' es failed to make the audience go 'YES'. They swiftly rejected the film and the film sunk like a titanic.

I believe todays song is picturised on Sripriya and Sarath.

'anbenum oliyaaga' was already featured in POW.

Ramki, Long back I heard one Tamil song of SJ, duet with Ramesh(not sure), the song goes like this 'oru nAlil malarndEne dEvane' something like that. If you have that can you please post it here. Thanks in Advance.

You are welcome Ramki and Meerakrishna. "nilavu vanthu nIrAda", though composed like many other sexy romance songs, the combination of the singers makes the song unique.

With the spring flowers blooming overnight, "oru nALil malarnthEnE" will be a perfect song for the season.

I think PS has also sung for Sripriya in Aattukkara Alamelu and Annai Or Alayam.

Meera, SJ has sung many songs for sripriya. My favorite is 'vazhkkai odam sella' from avaL appadithaan

Thunai had Sivaji doing a role that well suited his age and experience. He was given ample support by artistes like Saritha, sukumari etc. Radha did a slightly negative role. Suresh was as asusual :).
Thunai's other songs were not memory worthy.
