Vaa Vaa Pakkam Vaa is still fresh with IRish disco sounds
Yup, very much. Unless they are really situational, say, like the songs in 6 to 60, EKK, etc. Otherwise, the 'disco' songs have me cracking my head before figuring out which film it belonged to. Especially so with Malaysia Vasudevan songs. Aaasai Nooru Vagai/Un meela oru kannu :confused2:Quote:

It's a master stroke by Rajni to remake this film just after the Baba Fiasco. He is good in this film and he is very good as the Vettaiyan Rajni. His style compliments him more when he is Vettaiyan and in general villainous roles. Vadivel though loud shares a good rapport with Rajni. The last 30-40 minutes is the best part of the film. Akilaandeswari amma and sonu sood are dhanda characters in the film. I liked 3 songs( Athindhom, Konja Neram and Raa raa). Vidyasagar has done a good job. Jyothika, shabbaa Thaanga mudiyadha over acting.. One wonders how Simran would have done this role as it would have been good to see two good actors in this film. The film has its silly moments but its okay. The suspense is good.
P.S: Whats up with all the double-entendres in the film  and most of them are uttered by Rajni. Not that I don't like em but I found it very strange for a Kudumbathoda Paathu Magilapada vendiya Rajni film.

chandran characterla apdi oru bavyam.. :)
indhran style... the intro when he opens the gate with his legs and entering the house...
his natural timing... :notworthy:
coconut vaasan did equally a good job, can call him the second hero in the movie...
sowkar janaki did well too...
and kamals stylish cameo was a surprise :)
one more surprise was the screenplay and dialogues were by visu...
any sad or irritating day would lose its colors and strains when you wash it with this movie.
At first, I thought you've watched this movie for the first time! Thanks to the follow-up, and glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the review! :)Quote:
