Murali Mohan has a good question about the rankings, which I would try and answer but for the fact that the ICC website appears to be banjaxed: "Is it true that if this match is washed off, England will not become No.1 if they win 4-0?" I reckon you're right, Murali. But we're going to have to exist in a delicious state of uncertainty for a while yet.
Sangu should have scored another century b4 declaring :lol2:
Another cakewalk.
England should field an A team against these Aussies.
Junaid Khan..amazing skills..crackerjack to Nanga+ 5ver in SSC patta  to think that we are still putup with kumars+braindead junks
Trego scores a 60 ball 100 for Som..carves Morkel to shreds..tough times ahead :-(
Rob Moody's(robelinda2) latest dig on Kallis. His new video. The description is hilarious.

Very unfortunate for Boucher....Should have had his helmet on.....Well luckily he had announced that he will be playing the next tour as well...So we will get to see him in action in his farewell series....

[B]Mark Boucher's participation for the Test series against England is in doubt after he suffered a "significant injury," to his left eye during the tour match against Somerset. Boucher had to leave the field at the end of the 46th over when a googly from Imran Tahir hit the stumps and a dislodged bail struck Boucher in the left eye. Photographs showed Boucher bleeding from the eye as he left the field.
He will undergo surgery on Monday night to determine the seriousness of the injury - which was diagnosed as laceration of the sclera, the white part of the eye - but it looms as a potential career-ender as Boucher said the tour of England would be his last.
Oh dear poor boucher, hope he recovers soon :|
http://www.espncricinfo.com/england-...ry/571732.html
So he's announced his retirement. Thought he would extend his career for another series. He stands with 999 dismissals in International Cricket...  for one of the best wicket-keepers the world has seen....
oh boucher retired'ah??
can always remember him for his winning six he hit against india in the last over of a one day game...
respect :notworthy:
999 dismissals across 3 formats
Could have made it a perfect 1000 had he not got injured...Still hopeful that, he might review his decision for a last home series or something....
Wade.. utter disgrace :banghead: OZ selection policy :confused2:
I can so foresee England winning 2015 WC
much of the recent ODI rule changes are working in their favour  still have my doubts on Eng being a dominant odi side..they simply don't have the ammunition to bat out teams on flat tracks...they are bullying sides on home made conditions case in point Chavi Bopara taking top order wickets ;-) Windies have the side to bully sides on flat tracks if they could get rid of their kaptaan.
Good bye Boucher! So who will replace him in test cricket?

jeez that looks bloody awful/

Jonathan Trott is British. It says so on his passport and he long ago passed the ECB’s cricket immigration test*. In an interview with George Dobell this week, he revealed that when he goes to South Africa, he doesn’t enjoy it much and usually flies back early. Booking a holiday, and then moaning about it from the time you arrive until the time you catch an early flight home: what could be more British than that?
I’ll be honest, as willow wavers go, he’s not one of my favourites. I respect his work, in much the same way that I might admire a really solid bit of bricklaying. You can appreciate an impressive accumulation of identically coloured rectangular bricks, one on top of the other in orthodox fashion, and you can nod approvingly at the impeccably neat mortar work, but you aren’t going to plan a day trip to see it.
He’s very good at what he does, though. Test match cricket rewards obduracy and HMS Trott is perhaps the modern game’s most successful anchor dropper. And anyone who voluntarily leaves the climate of South Africa to dwell in the land that dry forgot deserves some kind of credit. Yet, he still feels as though he has to justify his presence on these shores.
“Let me tell you, when the sun shines, there is no better country in the world than England.”
Fortunately George stopped him before he got on to Elgar, muffins or red telephone boxes. And I’ll have to take his word for it on the sunshine, I can’t really remember to be honest. The two permanent puddles outside my house (I’ve called them Dave and George) will soon be forming a small pond together, the buses are full of slugs travelling between vegetable gardens, and shoals of piranhas are window-shopping on Oxford Street.
That he has such an idyllic view of England sounds all the more remarkable when you learn that he lives in Birmingham. The second city doesn’t have a great reputation: it’s dull, it’s not much fun to look at and the accent is hard to take. But look a little more closely and you’ll see that it’s built around some substantial looking Victorian architecture that is impressive in its restrained classicism. You could say it’s the Jonathan Trott of English cities.

SL's first test series victory after Murali's retirement   Nanga MOS..congrats PS
Good series win for SL ...Sangakkara- the lynchpin of the SL batting order... .
SL's had a rough time after Murali's retirement especially in tests. Their performance has slightly been off radar from the time Dilshan took over captaincy. But guess SLCB did the right thing by giving back the captaincy to Mahela last year, who according to me has done a fine job at the helm. Moreover the team's performance in Australia was nothing short of brilliant. The likes of Chandimal, Angelo Mathews have all come to the fore.
Brett Lee retires from International cricket.
evalvu periya cup..seems SLC spent all their ICC dole on this

Another injury and another great cricketer retires.... to Brett Lee...
with Kallis no-show..ABDV turning wkt-keeper could be a blessing in disguise for Saffers.
In other news Sojji remains wicketless for Essex :-(
Interviewer: Did you ever consider playing for England
James Pattinson: No, never thought of crossing over to the dark side
