Sivaji, Endhiran, Dasavatharam all created stirs like none other - a screen was burnt when Sivaji print didnt arrive in time. Endhiran had queues of non-Indians with extensive English press write-ups. Dasavatharam had audience giving standing ovation at end of movie.
Please lah... the rest of the movies pale in comparison.
I do not trust any of these Malaysian news from Indian sites - still remember when they copy-pasted the entire cinema list in Malaysia and proudly proclaimed that Velayutham was playing in all. :rotfl2:

Sivaji & Enthiran includes 3days weekend collection while Thuppaki & KATHTHI released in middle of the week which includes 5 days weekend (2 extra working days) collections, which means obviously the weekend collections are going to be more..If we add the 2 extra days collection to the weekend collection of Sivaji or Enthiran it is surely going to be more than that of KATHTHI & Thuppaki collections..Quote:

Endiran's number for instance in US $1.5M for Tamil release alone is a freaking number especially if you consider it was released more than 4 years ago. Same scenario in UK and as Nov Anna said, in Malaysia and should be the case in most other markets.
But in Tamilnadu, Kaththi has taken one of the greatest ever opening is also a fact.
Kathth's reach in all places without exception is Vijay's best and puts him way ahead of the current pack. Thuppakki and now Kaththi continues to raise the bar for the current crop.
