There are few others also tweeted the same...thought that guy was copy paste from someone else... Thanks.
Rentrak provides BO numbers in local currencies. Rentrak numbers provider Taran Adarsh/Bollywood Hungama shared the numbers.

Which is approximately USD 2,44,901 and USD 6,03,330 malaysia gross for Poojai and Kaththi respectively for the reported screen. I don't know from where the propagating gross numbers of approx. $ 1.9M have come from. I am not sure how many Rentraks are there to give different BO numbers to different people and checked Boxoffice Mojo Malaysia, they too did not update any Malaysia numbers. Let me know if i miss any new authenticate bo source, as i am not online of late.
bratha, dw. You didn't miss much other than a few fake box office figures that are different from each other. poi sollum pothu yellorum ore maathiri sollanum illaena ippidi than :(
oh Taran update panirukkara? why no one updated that till now? :)
Thanks BM, that's why i asked which portal subscribed to rentrak ...it will be more than 600K is sure. 'coz the reported screens are 32, 25 for Kaththi and Poojai respectively..but for the exact numbers let's wait for boxoffice mojo ;)
Hope Box office mojo had stopped updating malaysian BO numbers for tamil films..Below is the page which updates overseas BO collection from Rentrak..

Bollywood hungama article is dated 04th Nov. But whatever Rentrak figures that have come out claiming Kaththi in the Top 3 was published yesterday (05th Nov). So probably we have to wait till BWH comes with their next update on this.
October 27th was his last update

@TheVikramBhatt Thanks! Health is much better than before. How's the shoot going on?
ok Ajay, he will update it i guess... this boxofficemojo is a strange site, they skipped some movies in the past too, it would be nice if Tamilboxoffice.com post the screen shot of rentrak rather just giving numbers...

Nov Anna,
These Rentrak guys only give updates on reported screens,32 in this case. BWH gets the numbers from Rentrak only. See the bottom left of the article.
Definitely. Possibly could have beaten Sivaji too. By the time the ban was removed, most people couldn't wait and had watched it illegally.
That is not the whole picture and therefore cannot be assessed. It is like giving marks for just three papers and assessing the whole exam. :p
Kaththi in kerala has grossed 10.25cr so far! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B10uJPyCIAAx-Y0.jpg
Kornerseat @Kornerseat :

Excellent work,Cedy. Was planning to do this for a while. Glad that you saved my work. :)
Sooper work Cedy...
Most importantly, the overseas numbers match up ARM's claim.

So we have Chennai, haven't we?
We will soon analyse every overseas market :)!!!
Man, you are in some kinda form.
Look at the Gross / Show, Ajay and that is for the first weekend!
Are you seeing this whole 'King of Opening' tag as the biggest conspiracy??
Just have a look at Thalaivaa's numbers!!!
Almost every figure here is perfectly synchronous with all the organized overseas official numbers!
Chennai, Kerala and Overseas, no prizes for guessing, who tops the charts :)
Haha.. Leave Thuppakki. Thalaivaa's numbers in Chennai is significant here, that too after all the delay.
