ENDHIRAN MAKES KAAVALAN BIGGER !
http://www.behindwoods.com/tamil-mov...-03-11-10.html
Endhiran was aggressively marketed by its producer Sun Pictures and it reaped the benefits in the form of profits. This Rajinikanth-starrer was marketed so heavily that Tamil films have now been put on the global map.
Vijay’s Kaavalan has been lapped up for a record price by an overseas distributor though his earlier film did not do well. Then Manmadhan Ambu, which is again gearing up for an audio launch in Singapore, will be lapped up by overseas distributors without a second thought as it is Kamal Haasan in the lead.
Several producers opine that Tamil films are now being recognized in the global market thanks to the aggressively marketed Endhiran.

The shooting of the Jai-Shahzahn Padamsee starrer Kanimozhi was wrapped up sometime ago but the producers – T Shiva and Sona – decided to keep the film on hold. Enquiries in Kollywood revealed that the producers wanted the Endhiran fever to die down a bit so that their film Kanimozhi could get a good reception from the audiences.
The film is now slated for a release on November 26th, so that the Diwali releases would also be safely out of the way. The film is directed by Sripathi Rangasamy who had apprenticed under Venkat Prabhu.

Director Mysskin’s much delayed film ‘Nandhalala’ is going to see the light of the day at last. The film produced by Ayngaran International will be released on November 26.
“The movie was lying in the cans for a longtime due to various unavoidable reasons. However, all the decks have been cleared now and you can watch the film on November 26,” sources say.
Besides wielding the megaphone, Mysskin has played the protagonist in ‘Nandhalala’, which has Snigdha (of ‘Kathazha Kannale…’ fame) doing the other lead role. “The movie is about human emotions and hence Mysskin opted for Illayaraja to score music.”
It is to be noted that Mysskin vented his ire at a recent function over the delay in the release of ‘Nandhalala’. “Today Tamil film industry is in a bad shape. There is lack of good films. Though my ‘Nandhalala’ is different, there are no takers for the movie,” he said.

Putting a full stop to rumours about her marriage with an Indian businessman early next year, popular multilingual actress Tabu has made it clear that she is not getting married any time soon and reiterated that she is not even in a relationship at the moment!
"No, I’m not getting married. This must be the first time that a bride’s not invited to her own wedding," the actress remarked. The actress also expressed her disappointment over how such news began to make rounds and confessed she has no clue where they stem from.
"Every time I return from Hyderabad, I find gossip about my marriage doing the rounds. This is the fifth time in the past year that people have planned my wedding. Incidentally, no one even knows the name of the guy. Maybe they should plan a meeting between us before playing wedding planners," she added.
"Marriage is never a necessity, but a choice. I would love to get married, provided I find that special someone with whom I can connect emotionally. As for now, I am happy being single," Tabu said.
