Oh no. This interview could have been somewhere in late nineties and in Malaysia.
It was the same interview where when talking about MGR, him and politics, he said MGR made it, and, in English, "But I missed the bus".

I have posted the first part of an interview by NT given for AVM's Endrum Cinema.The interview was done by actress meena and this was recently telecast in Kalaignar TV...(really admirable friendship they had...I mean MK and NT). I understand many did not see it, many overseas could not, it is for your benefit that I have uploaded this. Part 1 is the first 10 minutes of it....Parts 2,3 and 4 of this will follow....It might be useful if you subscribe to my videos to enable you know when it is posted, I too shall try to post the information here.
