Some friends are organising a seminar on Tamil Computing. This seminar will give full knowledge of installing Tamil softwares in computer and develop working knowledge of Tamil computing.
They will be distributing the following softwares to all the participants:
1. e-kalappai
2. Tamil open office - a full version of office package,
3. Paint software - to draw pictures,
4. Thamizha web browser- to browse internet etc.
5. Other software.
The course will be conducted by an Indian Lecturer, who is working in a local University.
Date : 18 April 2004 Sunday
Time : 9.30 am 4.30 pm
Location: Dewan Kuliah Utama, Fakulti Pendidikan, Universiti Malaya
Fee : RM50 ONLY (inclusive of course materials, lunch, two tea breaks with snacks)

You can now download TSC_Avarangal font and a thamizh transliteration tool(english to thamizh & vice versa) - from the yahoo group 'santhavasantham.
Just join the group and download these files from the files section of that group.
1 TSC_Avarangal font ('TSCAVA.ttf')
2. Tool to 'transliterate' all thamizh content to english and all english content to thamizh - "TAMIZ1.exe"
