Director:bhaarathiraja
Cast:raadha,kannan
classical song. all the songs in the movie are excellent. good pick rocket :-)
Kaadhal oviyam as a movie failed miserably in the BO.
But i did like the way BR directed that, esp the climax...
Coming to songs in that movie, IR gave life to this movie thru his songs...
esp naadham en jeevanae (all time SJ hit) and nadhiyil aadum poovanam - the song starts with soundaryalahari slokam(SPB recite it) and then SJ humming starts in-between and she continue to start the pallavi..incredible creativity from IR.
Can someone shed more stories/news about this movie, if they have ???

Song: Veenaiku

Director:
Cast : Rajkiran (I'm not sure )
Beautiful song rocket. But small corrections in the details
movie: Ellame en raasa than
director: Rajkiran
Karthikraja composed music for manickam :-)
Rajkiran is one of the luckiest person who was much benefited by IR. This song is an excellent song sung by IR himself.
Veenaikku veenai kunju

RocketBoy, I thought that Swathy had the license to start new song of the days... as Rajasaranam once mentioned. I too like the thought of Swathy controlling this thread..
Considering today's song.. all songs of Anjali for that matter was way ahead of its times.. even today Usha Uthup sings Megham Megham song on stage.
Anjali is Raja's miestone movie as well.. (500th I guess) and Nayagan was his 400th. I pray Mani Ratnam to comeback to Raja...
As you wish renault . I'll stay away from this thread. :)
Rocketboy, I didn't want you to stay away from this thread. I want you to participate in discussing Maestro's creations as we all do.
Since Swathy initiated this thread, I am re-iterating Rajasaranam's words: " I prefer 'Swathy' the thread starter to moderate this thread".
Waiting for the next song.. Swathy.
