i like tamil version the best in terms of tune matching lyrics. others r kinda awkward. i am not saying this because i understand only tamil. i mean i thought the hindi lyrics for guru was better than the tamil one.Quote:

What the hell on earth is a 1930 statue of jesus doing in the list? I bet it was all Hispanics voting day in and day out. This entry doesnt belong in the top 1000.
The pyramids not included as egyptian authorities announced it as a disgrace if the have to compete. There is no seven wonders without the pyramuds and sphinx. After all they were the masters of engineering!
The rest Im ok with, although Ive never heard of Machu Picchu.
Movies is right... it is just a poll put forth by a private organistion... but all the national sentiments fueled it to greater heights... Otherwise it doesnt have much significance.
Machu pichu is just a dead city like mohanjo daro and harappa, but much younger... May be it is a wonder coz it is sitauted on a very high altitude :?
