I dont know how I missed Saritha in my favourite list. Really talented and her voice modulation is :thumbsup: Nool vEli, achchamillai achchamillai, thaNNeer thaNNeer, agni saatchi, mounga geethangaL ippadi niRaiya movies'la different'a paNNi irukkaanga.

Saritha was pretty good in Agni Saatchi (one of my favorite MSV songs kanaa kaanum kangal rendu...).

The reason I put Rohini up is, she doesnt get her due. I think she is very good in the few challenging roles she was offered MagaLir Mattum, Marupadiyum (I think she is nearly as good as Smita Patil in the original which is saying something) and Virumandi.

decent actress not a great performer? Why the distinction? And I think she is far better than decent. In fact Panjavarnam by itself should lift her well above the "decent" category.

:thumbsup: The bigger and bolded name is easily the most talented, and hence, the most wasted (rather unfortunately)

Personally, I'd tick off Achi. Never really impressed other than handful of films. Her performance quite easily annoy me. Perhaps a good model for future comedy actresses with limited talent to get a lasting name with a routine set of well accepted histrionics and dialAk delivery. The way she shifts her gear in emotional roles, is only slightly less annoying than Lakshmi, and slightly less typical than KR Vijaya's crying.
