Nandita on board Vijay’s Puli
Nandita of Idharkuthaane Aasaipatti Balakumaara fame is the latest to join the cast of Vijay – Chimbudevan’sPuli which is currently nearing completion. She will be seen in a brief but important role in the film that already has a powerhouse of star performers including Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani, Sudeep and Sridevi Boney Kapoor.

Actor Vijay's still from the shooting spot of his upcoming film 'Puli' directed by Chimbu Devan has been doing the rounds on the internet. Looks like the entire team is irked with the photo of the star actor being leaked. An annoyed Vidyullekha who is part of the cast has revealed that the team is highly disappointed and irritated. It is also said that the team is trying to find out how the picture got leaked.
An irked Vidyullekha tweeted, "Highly disappointing and irritating to see leaked photos of #Puli ... Entire team is very very upset. Getting to the bottom of this asap. They had planned a nice first look 4 everyone. Heart sinks when we protect it for 6 months and in the last minute this happens."
Being directed by Chimbu Devan, the film also stars Shruti Haasan, Hansika, Sridevi and Kiccha Sudeep in important roles. 'Puli' is touted to be the most expensive film in actor Vijay's career.

Vijay’s encouragement gave me confidence: Charandeep
Actor Charandeep, who has teamed up with Tamil superstar Vijayfor the second time in the upcoming film “Puli”, says the latter’s encouragement on the sets gave him confidence to perform well.
“Vijay sir has no need to take the effort to help, but he did while working in ‘Puli’. Despite being a superstar, he helped me with my lines. He explained patiently how differently and effectively I can mouth my dialogues,” Charandeep, who had previously worked in last year’s Tamil blockbuster “Jilla” with Vijay, told IANS.
“The way he encouraged gave me the confidence to perform well. I’ve worked with so many actors, but nobody has been as encouraging as him,” he added.

Nandita Swetha completes 'Puli' shoot
Attakathi’ fame Nandita Swetha has completed Puli shooting and she says that her role in the film will be the best in her career.
“After finishing the #Puli shoot. Heading for another movie Song shoot #Nanditaswetha on dancing mode “ posted the actress in her Twitter page.
In a chat session on Twitter, a fan asked whether there is any specific role that she aspires to act and the actress replied that her role in Puli will be the best and she don’t really have any specific role in mind.

'Puli' goes to Cambodia!
Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Chimbudevan directed Puli team will be flying out to Cambodia tonight to shoot two songs.Puli is a big budget action fantasy thriller that has Sridevi, Hansika, Shruthi Haasan, Sudheep, Prabhu, Thambi Ramaiah and many others in its star cast, with music by Devi Sri Prasad.
The buzz is that one song will be picturised on Vijay and Hansika at the Angkor Wat a temple complex in Cambodia the largest religious monument in the world. This song, a melodious number will be choreographed by Raju Sundaram.
Later the team is planning to shoot another song with Vijay and ShrutiHaasan in a different location most probably Sihanoukville beach for a peppy number.
Two weeks back, producer Shibu Thameens and art director Muthuraj had visited China and came back with the news that the extreme cold season prevailing there is not suitable for shoot. So they reworked the song shoot location and freezed on Cambodia.

When 'Puli' first look will release? Ilayathalapathy Vijay’sPuli is progressing at a brisk pace in Thailand and Cambodia where they are shooting for the last two songs of the film.
Fans of Vijay are eagerly expecting for the first look of the film but we hear that the team will unveil the first look poster only on the actor’s birthday, June 22.
As the film is demanding a lot of VFX works, the team is unsure about the teaser and trailer release date but we hear that the audio launch of the film will be releasing on August. Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Non-stop Work Finished
The shooting of the song featuring Vijay and Shruti Haasan for ‘Puli’ ended today (May 15) in exotic locations of Thailand and with this it is a wrap up of the entire film as tweeted by Shruti
Puli’ has an ensemble cast with Vijay, Shruthi Haasan, Prabhu, Sridevi, Hansika, Sudeep, Nandita Sweta, Sathyan, Karunaas, Imman Annachi, Robo Shankar, Thambi Ramaiya and Vijayakumar. Cinematography is by Natty Natraj, Music is by Devi Sri Prasad, Production Design by T. Muthuraj and editing by Sreekhar Prasad. Produced with a huge budget by P.T.Selvakumar and Shibu K Thameens the fantasy adventure film ‘Puli’ is expected to release on the 17th of September while the first look will be out on Vijay’s birthday the 22nd of June.
It is to be noted that Vijay shot non-stop for close to two hundred days for ‘Puli’ as he was very much impressed with director Chimbudevan’s script which is said to give complete satisfaction for everyone from a toddler to a senior citizen.
