விஜய்-முருகதாஸ் கூட்டணி 2012ல் துப்பாக்கி என்ற மாபெரும் வெற்றி படத்தை கொடுத்தது. இதை அடுத்து இவர்கள் எப்போது இணைவார்கள் என்று அனைவரும் எதிர்பார்த்த நிலையில் அடுத்த இரண்டே வருடத்தில் கத்தி படத்தின் மூலம் அடுத்த பாக்ஸ் ஆபிஸ் வேட்டைக்கு புரப்பட்டு விட்டனர்.சமீபத்தில் முருகதாஸ் அஜிரண கோளரு காரணமாக சென்னையில் உள்ள தனியார் மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டார். பின் உடல் நலம் குணமடைந்து 2 நாட்களுக்கு முன் வீட்டிற்கு வந்தார்.இது குறித்து தன் டுவிட்டர் பக்கத்தில் ‘ தற்போது குணமாக உள்ளேன், டாக்டர்ஸ், நண்பர்கள், என் குழுவினருக்கு நன்றி. குறிப்பாக எனக்காக வேண்டிய கோவை விஜய் ரசிகர்களுக்கு நன்றி’ என நெகிழ்ச்சியுடன் டுவிட் செய்துள்ளார்.

Watch out for the #Kaththi album by @anirudhofficial. Heard a couple of the songs (one of which I worked on) and they sound kick-ass
Just listened to the full rough track of Selfie Pulla by Anirudh and Sunidhi. Lyrics has shades of Google Google. Heard Facebook, Instagram, Photoshop etc. Music wise typical Anirudh style... which is good. Can't wait to hear Vijay's rendition though.
