Here¡¯s the final result of our recently conducted Best Tamil Film 2014 poll
As the year comes to an end, BollywoodLife conducted an exciting poll to decide which Tamil film was the best one of 2014. The nominees were Kaththi, Lingaa, Veeram, JIgarthandaand Vellailla Pattadhaari. This was a tough choice for all those voting but you have decided what was your best Tamil film of this year ¨C and that movie is Ilayathlapathy Vijay¡¯s Kaththi! Kaththigot the maximum number of votes ¨C an astounding 72% to be chosen as the Best Tamil Film 2014!
Vijay¡¯s performance in the film, A R Murugadoss¡¯s direction, Anirudh¡¯s music and pretty Samantha as the heroine ¨C this was the perfect combination for a film that was a box office superhit. Vijay has been giving us good movies and his previous film with director Murugadoss, Thupakki, also shows that they are a winning actor-director combo. Vijay has been breaking box office records and his popularity is rising around the world.
But we can¡¯t forget Superstar Rajinikanth who made his strong comeback this year with Lingaa. The stylish Superstar made a dashing entry to race to the top of the money spinners at the Tamil box office. Lingaa came second and Ajith¡¯s Veeram finished third this year as Best Tamil Film. Jiagarthanda and Vellailla Pattadhaari stood together at fourth position.
