I have searched but never got the songs of 'Chaitram' from the net yet. Neither do I have the songs. Maybe someone from Kerala like raj_musing or Sagar can help us. (BTW, where is Sagar. He has been away for a long time now!!)

Thanks for pointing to the 'Chaitram' song. I hadn't heard this earlier. Thought I had most of Raja's Malayalam repertoire. When it comes to Raja, you learn new things all the time :)

'manase manase' is a fairly underrated composition. It is a nice pathos song. At the same time I find the tune a bit different from the usual Raja tunes in the sense that he finishes the charanam quite fast without any twists and turns of his :) I too love the 'marakilla gyan' part, especially the 'vatsalya nidhiyaya guruve'. Ofcourse 'Sooriyan' highlight was 'vasantha nila'. What a composition!!
