Prof. Thandavan, olden days coming to my mind. I was planning to visit his elder brother Prof. Rangasamy [ who holds one unique record to be elected as Pachaiyappa's Students wing Secretary and Chairman - unanimously, which remains unsurpassed till date] but due to time factor was not able to meet him. Yes, Prof. Thandavan, History Department, Pachaiyappa's college/Madras University, still remember used to come in his Motor Bike [ Yezdi?] to college.
